I've had Jasper for 12 years and the vet didn't have good news. We knew he had pancreatic issues. He now has a stage 3 heart murmur, a tumor that she thinks is cancer and a skin condition. We put him on pain meds so he will be more comfortable and heart medication for the rest of his days.
He is a blessing and has been by my side through a lot of things for the past 12 years. Every day I have him is a blessing and I'm seizing every moment I can. I believe these guys have a special purpose here on earth. He has shown me what unconditional love is and how to really listen and be there for others. I would have rather loved this guy and lost than not had him in my life at all.
